Iconic Gymboree Brand Expected To Make A Comeback In Early 2020

October 21, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - Sunsella, a business based in Las Vegas, Nevada, has announced that the iconic Gymboree brand is set to be relaunched by its former rival, The Children’s Place, in early 2020. The relaunch will entail an improved website and shop-in-shop locations in more than 200 stores of The Children’s Place. Gymboree Group had filed for bankruptcy in January 2019 and closed all of their stores. The Children’s Place acquired all the rights associated with the Gymboree brand, including its value-oriented Crazy 8 brand, in March 2019.

The Children’s Place also plans to introduce an enhanced loyalty program for the Gymboree brand that will provide customers with a reward for each purchase. Members will also be given special offers on their children’s birthdays, such as exclusive access to bonus events and opportunities for them to earn extra points.

The Children’s Place operates some 960 stores in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Jane Elfers, president and CEO of The Children’s Place, has also stated that they are excited to be able to bring back the bow-to-toe collections of children’s clothes that can create magical childhood moments. The new Gymboree e-commerce site will be providing access to all Gymboree collections with site visitors having the choice of shopping by collection.

They believe that the multichannel offering combined with improved online shopping and attractive in-store locations will be able to provide the best shopping experience for long-standing customers of the Gymboree brand. It will also help welcome a new generation of mothers to the iconic brand.

Meanwhile, Sunsella offers home and kitchen products that are of high quality. Their products include a silicone vegetable / food steamer basket, stainless steel vegetable steamer, stainless steel water bottle, bento lunch box, potholder set, multi-purpose cutter and chopper, and adhesive spice clips.

Sunsella’s silicone vegetable steamer is made from high-grade, BPA-free, and food safe silicone. It is provided with strong thick sidewalls and secure locking handles to make it easy to remove the steamer from inside a pan. It is foldable to allow closing of the pot lid to ensure optimum steaming conditions.

Another product from Sunsella is the 100 percent stainless steel vegetable steamer. Just like with the silicone vegetable steamer, this will also allow people to steam their vegetables, which is the healthiest way of cooking them.

Another product from Sunsella is the Leakproof Bento Box Lunch Container. It is totally leakproof so that people will have peace of mind with the assurance that liquids will not leak out and ruin the other food in the box. This bento box is ideal both as a work lunch box or a student’s lunch box. Using this bento box to keep cooked meals in the refrigerator, people can plan and prepare their lunch for a whole week. Every morning, they can easily retrieve one of the boxes from the fridge and bring it to school or work.

To be possibly paired with the bento box is a leakproof stainless steel water bottle with carrier clip. It is double walled to prevent heat transfer or heat loss so that the temperature of the liquid inside will maintain its temperature for a long time, whether hot or cold. In fact, it is guaranteed to keep its contents hot or cold for as long as 24 hours. It is also provided with a removable silicone ring handle with aluminum carabiner, which can be used to clip the bottle to a tote bag, handbag, or backpack.

Another helpful product from Sunsella is the pastry, pasta cutter & bench chopper, scraper with ruler. It has a non-slip, ergonomic rubber handle that makes it easy to put icing on cakes or for cleaning bench tops. It has a machine edge blade that has been stamped with measurements for accurate dough and pastry portions. It can also be used for flipping burgers that are being grilled or for cleaning the barbecue grill plate afterwards.

Innovative fashion designers lead the way on sustainability

May 27, 2020

LONDON — Innovative fashion designers are turning to such things as horseradish and nettles to make sustainable clothing and accessories to the delight of a growing number of buyers. While more consumers are paying closer attention to how the production of goods impacts the environment, old habits die hard. A buy-and-toss mentality persists despite a boost from celebrities helping to drive the upcycle and vintage movements. Actress Maggie Q, who created an activewear line from recycled fabrics, is among activists who see plenty of room for improvement. She says she feels "sick about fast fashion.'' "You hear people say, 'Well,...

Queen Elizabeth honors Booker Prize winner Margaret Atwood

May 27, 2020

LONDON — Shortly after winning her second Booker Prize, Margaret Atwood has received a rare honor from Queen Elizabeth II for her services to literature. The Canadian novelist and poet was presented with an Order of the Companions of Honor in a ceremony at Windsor Castle Friday. She said the experience made her "a bit emotional." The Press Association quoted Atwood as saying that "when you see the Queen at her age and her schedule that she puts out, it's an inspiration to everybody, you just keep going." Atwood and British author Bernardine Evaristo split the Booker Prize ten days...

BBC faces backlash after censuring anchor for Trump remarks

May 27, 2020

LONDON — The BBC faced a backlash Friday after finding one of its presenters in breach of its editorial guidelines on impartiality for comments that were critical of U.S. President Donald Trump. Journalists and celebrities were demanding that the BBC overturn its decision and expressed support for BBC Breakfast anchor Naga Munchetty, who was discussing Trump's remark that four female American lawmakers should return to the "broken and crime infested places from which they came." Co-anchor, Dan Walker, asked Munchetty for her opinion on the July 17 program, and she responded: "Every time I have been told, as a woman...

British prime minister's aide divides, but will he conquer?

May 27, 2020

LONDON — To some, he's a strategic genius. Others call him a mayhem-loving anarchist. Everyone seems to have an opinion about Dominic Cummings. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's most powerful aide — dubbed "Boris' brain" by some — is an enigmatic backstage operator who shuns media attention, yet has been played onscreen by "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch. Since taking office two months ago, Johnson has made a series of bold moves: Promising Brexit "do or die," dealing ruthlessly with party rebels and controversially suspending Parliament. Many see Cummings' hand at work in the strategy, which has left Westminster shaken and...

Soccer star says Amazon didn't remove racist reviews of book

May 27, 2020

LONDON — Soccer star Eni Aluko has condemned Amazon for not removing racist reviews of her memoir posted on the online retailer's web site. Of the 31 reviews on Amazon's United Kingdom site, 27 gave "They Don't Teach This" a one-star rating. The book details the discrimination Aluko faced during her England career. Customers have used the platform to call the book "anti-white racist drivel" and "fiction" and accuse the Juventus forward of choosing to "play the race card" and "coming across as a racist herself." Aluko, who is black, and her publishers have asked Amazon to delete the racist...
